Missing Everyone :(

Hello everyone! I am 10 weeks yesterday, well really only 8, but I will take the extra two weeks that everyone keeps adding to my age.... I like to sound older then I really am.

I Miss my Grandma and Aunt and my furry sibling :(
the furry sibling was sent away and Grandma and Aunt went to visit my other Aunt. Which some day I will get to see. She is coming to visit in November.....Right when we plan to move...hahaha perfect timing my Aunts have.

My Mom is so very pleased with the house, the painters that came in were so very excellent . Mom's been tired because of my growing, and I have been attempting to make her sick at any chance I can. If she only knew I was trying to do it so she can stay home with me and nova..... But she still goes to work.

I am still very small but I've just learned how to Kick. I have plenty of room in here to kick my legs as I'm still very small, about the size of a Walnut. I will not let mom eat very much either, I only allow her to eat very tiny meals. I like to get food through out the day not just 3 times a day. I am so in control.

Well I must say good buy for now, I want mom to go get something to eat..... Dad's making something hope he offers me some :(

Oh So Early to be awake

Good Morning! Yahoo I am 9 weeks today!!! Today is a good day, my grammy and my aunt are on their way to visit with me. I guess I should not get that excited, I wont be able to see them seeing how my eyes are not open right now, not to mention I'm in constant darkness. HOWEVER I can feel that mom's happy about it, therefore it makes me content. I'm still trying to make her sick though, I don't like when she is on the go, and if I can make her sick she usually tries to take it easy! I'm going to do a lot of growing this week, I may even cause a few extra aches and pains to mom - Sorry, its just me growing.

Mommy and daddy have been busy getting the house ready for painting and selling. They have storage where they are going to place items they do not need. They have people coming in today to check things out, people coming in Monday too! Mom's going to miss this place, sorry mom, but it's not my fault that I need a lot of stuff, by the way your cars to small too!

Mom's going to go see about eating something that I wont reject.

A wild Morning

Good Morning everyone! Its a wonderful day in Ottawa. I had a big rush this morning, so I was not able to make mom sick. The furry child misbehaved. He took off from mom in front of traffic, mom's heart went up, I'm sure that's what erased my attempts to make her sick this morning. The furry one is lucky he remembered to stay and sit as mom had to give him the signals from across the road. Mom said he was wild this morning, said he was full of something and vinegar, what ever they are. Don't worry everyone, mom kept me safe she did not run out in traffic too.

Dad's off today, but I have to go to work with mom. We both hope the day goes quick! Dad's going to drop us off then he's going to go buy some things to sell the house.

Approaching week 9

Hello everyone. This week I'm the size of a grape, and I weigh less than an ounce. I've finally gotten rid of that tail I've been sporting, and I've gained eyelids. I've closed my eyes, and they will not open again for another 19 weeks.

All my joints (knees, elbows, shoulders, ankles and wrists) are working, and I can move about. I can make a fist, and if I choose, I can start sucking my thumb.

I'm still working on causing Mommy to be ill... what with all the hormones and such. This week I've put in a special effort.

I'm playing nice today

Well hello my followers! I have been taking it easy on Mommy today. I decided that since I'm 8 weeks today I will be good. Not to mention I have mom scared. She woke up today and was scared to move as she did not feel bad at all. I think she thinks if she moves it will wake me, and I will try something. Mom's still taking it easy and she just had some yummy cereal/banana and the last milk in the house. I will decide if I will let her keep that or not in a few moments.
Mom and dad are looking for a new house, I'm glad they have that furry one. Cause they are trying to make sure they have a yard for him, which I will take over in a few years. I want to have a yard to plan in. Well that's all for now.

Still growing,
baby

I tried again.

The little furry child is weak, I tried to make mom sick again this morning, (and I did by the way) but he got sick to. I think he has a soft spot for Mom. She gave him some treats that he loves, to make him feel better. What do I get, an unnourished mother that has to go sit all day at a desk. He gets to stay home with his toys. Dad's taking Mom to work so she does not have to suffer my wrath while on the bus.

I did it! Oops I mean We did it.

Well as you could see by yesterdays post, I had attempted to keep mom from work. I know it would have been sooner or later that I could accomplish it. Mom is warn out from all my growing and her tummy always feels a little weird, thanks to me. Well today I accomplished what I wanted. I sent mom running for the bath room, although I can not take all the credit. I decided to work to gether with my puppy, Nova. Together we brought her down! I kept her from feeling well enough to take nova out for his #2. I had her sitting on the couch when nova came in with is spoils to be disposed of, and voila.......It was a running mom will go. Nova and I both get what we love the most Mom at home spending time with just us.

First message

Hello. This is my first blog posting, I hope it goes well.

Right now, it's been about 5 weeks since I was concieved. It's really dark in here, and I can't hear anything because I don't have ears yet. My heart is beating 120 times a minute... but that's normal for me. Given that I've just sprouted limbs, it's actually pretty amazing that I can type so well.

Today I tried to keep Mommy home from work by making her sick... but it didn't work. Last night I tried to make her sick also. I'll probably try again tomorrow. Last week Mommy and I went to have my picture taken and to get a checkup. Everything's A-OK.

Other than that, I'm keeping myself busy by growing bigger and growing some new parts.

That's all for now,
Baby

Week 7 baby

This is what baby would look like this coming week if we could photograph him/her.

Baby's first photo

Tammy went to get some bloodwork done this morning, but ended up getting an ultrasound. Baby and mom are both doing well. The baby is 0.9 cm from head to toe (tail), it still has a yolk-sac (it's the thing that looks like the head in the photo). The heart is beating at 120 beats/minute. Unfortunately I was not there, because it was just supposed to be some bloodwork today. Tammy said she could see the little heart beating.

We have the next appointment in August to do some followup tests and bloodwork.

Baby web tickers

Some web tickers to show the progress of the baby. Currently were at 6 weeks and 2 days. Only 236 days to go. That puts the due date in mid to late February. I'll see if I can add the ticker to the main blog site before too long.

Better educated

OK, we've got some books, done some research. We generally know what's good and bad, and what to expect. Our embryo is budding limbs, and is currently in good shape. Tammy's had 2 blood tests, and all looks good so far. It's still early, but the word has started to spread. We called our parents last week, and have recently given the go ahead to spread the word amongst family and close friends.

To reduce our fear of the unknown, in addition to several dozen websites and Dr. Jamies phone housecalls, we decided to pickup some recommended books to allay our fears and help us to learn about what's coming:
