No one is helping me type, Mom help, Dad help!!!!! YOu guys better not be this busy when I arrive!!!!! Nova tried to help but he does not seem to know the passwords! He also lacks spelling ability!

Approaching halfway

As we approach week 18 I have many thoughts. Hope and fear, happiness and worry. Mostly fear and worry over our hopes and happiness. I'm told by my mom that the worry never stops.

Will my child be smart, successful, happy? Do I have what it takes to be a good parent? Will I be?

I find myself over the past few days trying to recall distant memories of my childhood. Particularly songs and nursery rhymes and such. I find I can recall precious few. I remember that twinkle star thing... but I no longer wonder what they are. Who was Jack Horner, and why should I care that he sat in a corner? Why would someone keep peas pudding around for 9 days?

I also find it so strange that my childhood seemed so long, and so full of memories and education (formal and informal) and experiences... and it really only lasted a very few years. How do we pack all the things we need, and the information and learning into such a short period of time?

Exactly how does a diaper genie work anyway?

Mom Broke Down

Hey everyone, I have been bugging my mom to buy me things be she kept saying no, no room you don't need it yet....... Then a four letter word was used!!!!! But mom they are having a SALE!

HeHeHe, that's all I had to say. She held back and only got a few things that were on sale for me
I have pictures of the things! My new Mobile is Ocean Wonders, I think mom and dad like water or something, My chair was more then half off.... only $20! Its a fisher price Link a doos rocker. Mom also bought a wipes warmer so my little bum will not be cold when its being freshened up! And she also bougth a Diaper Genie to hold my presents :) All on sale!

She told me to be good though, as she kept the reciept and could change her mind at any moment!

Had Test results this past weeks

Party time Party time..... No drinks yet Mommy, just milk or H20! The test results that were a month in waiting are in, I'm a low risk to have problems although the doctor called you old to have me. I have been trying to tell you that I'm healthy! I have even helped you out mom, mom's blood pressure is now normal and not high as it has been.... We should celebrate, although you never seem to want anything special anymore, I poked you the other night, I know you felt it!!! Mom broke the news to Nova again this week that I am on my way, he just huffed..... Furry one, I hope you will like me, I can't wait to play with you, although mom said you belong to her and that I AM NOT TO STEAL YOU AWAY FROM HER. Dad's happy the test are all considered a low risk of problems!
Mom and Dad heard my heart beat this week, for the first time ever! Mom's seen it before on the ultasounds but has never heard the heart beat.
I have my next picture scheduled, for Oct 11th! 8am I have to think about if I'm going to let them know if I'm a boy or a girl or if I would like to surprise them. I am almost half way to the world now! I will get to hear my grandparents at Christmas and then see them Next year too!

Another Decision somewhat Made

Steve and I have decided to go with the Peg Perego stroller as well and the infant car seat... I am just not clear on the model yet. Again the Sales lady used tactics that a parent can not fight.... The child's safety. Now I highly doubt some of the things that she said could happen would, however its weighing on us like you would not believe. If any of you Mothers and Fathers out there have any suggestions please feel free to comment to help us make a decision (with info not from a sales rep)

I think I have decided on the bed I will be sleeping my child in for the next 18 years....... I say this lightly because I'm not sure, but something like this is what I would like for that little ball of joy that's having me sleep/not sleep, feel ill, and general uncomfortable.... I think I am partial to the Cherrywood finish (fireside) It's a Concord brand Rosilia model. This crib will convert to a toddler bed eliminating the need to purchase another bed in a couple of years and then to a double bed,which could either be for a guest bedroom or the child's - depending on him or her I guess. Its all about spending wisely and less in the long run! Even if its a little bit more in the beginning! Right! Right! Someone please tell me I'm right..... So your all welcome to give your opinion in the comments! I have located it in two different stores, I will keep an eye out for sales and buy it at the the best price I can find.

OMG.... I'm freaking out in here. Today I turn 15 weeks, I always get mom up early on my new week. But to my surprize, I'm growing fur.... I'm sorry nova for teasing you and calling you the furry one, I did not know I would have fur too..... MOM I DON'T WANT TO BE AS FURRY AS NOVA...... he gets hot in the summer and starts to chew off his fur.... I don't want to have to do that.... What's happening to me :(
